Cappadocia Green Tour
The destinations above consist of south part of the Cappadocia. Tour starts at 09:30 AM with picking you up from your hotel with professional tour guide and driver.
The first destination will be Göreme Panoramic View Point where you would observe whole Göreme Town and take some breath-taking photos of the Central Cappadocia. Second point is Kaymaklı Underground City, which is estimated oldest Underground City of the Cappadocia. In Cappadocia people start to live nside the rocks from Paleolithic Period. Yet these kind of underground cities are known as a protection sanctuary rom enemies (Romans, Persians, Arabs). esides that people were using these places as a huge storehouse.

After lunch break we will visit the Hollywood movie set. Yaprakhisar Panorama where several scenes from the Star Wars movies were filmed. You will feel like you are on another planet.
When we return to the Earth we will be inside of the Selime Monastery and Cathedral which is the biggest Greek Orthodox cathedral with fascinating rock-cut buildings.
When we retun the Central Cappadocia we will visit Pigeon Valley in Uçhisar for a photo break. You will see many pigeon loft inside the valley and we will discuss ”why pigeons are very important for our region”.
The Green Tour will finish by visiting a handcraft bazaar. You will see craftman, artisians while they are producing traditional Cappadocia Art.
Green Tour is specially prepared for nature, botany and hiking enthuasiats. You can see history and nature togather in Ihlara Canyon, one of the largest valley in the world.
Tour will be finished at 18:00 PM. Estimated at 18:00/18:30 PM. you will be at your accomandation place.
On the other day, you can experience a red tour and take a trip to central Cappadocia.

What is the Green Tour?
The green tour route is designed for visitors who want to experience history and nature together. It provides the opportunity to walk in the Ihlara Valley, the most important valley of the Cappadocia Region, and to see the world's largest underground city. It also provides the opportunity to see Hasan Mountain, the second largest volcanic mountain in the region.
Which Dishes are Included in the Green Tour as a Lunch?
We eat the most delicious dishes in the most interesting restaurant of the Cappadocia. The restaurant settled on the river. Your lunch will be prepared on the clay pots. You could choose meat, meatball, fish, mushroom with cheese, French fries, salad, chicken … If you are vegetarian we could serve you as well.
What about Trekking Route, do I have to walk?
The trekking route takes almost 1 hour. We will walk along side of the river. We will visit several churches besides that you will see several birds, nice trees and nature. We highly recommend walking inside the valley. However if you don’t want to walk our driver will take you to restaurant and you could get relax until we arrive.
Are There Places Where We Can Take a Break While Walking in the Valley?
If you feel tired or just want to give a break during the trekking there are several breaking point inside the valley. We could seat and drink nice cold beverages on the river.
What should I wear in Green Tour?
Green tour is an activity intertwined with hiking and nature. For this reason, we recommend that you wear walking shoes and clothes that will keep you cool.
What will I see in the Underground City?
Underground city is a magical place. You will be surprise when we go deep down of the underground. People were living inside temporary but they have built amazing place. You will see Rolling Stone Doors, Narrow Tunnels, Ventilation Shaft, Stables, Rooms, Churches, Vinery and Storehouses.
Derinkuyu Underground City vs Kaymaklı Underground City?
Obviously, both are designed to serve the same purpose. There will be not so big difference between them. Only Derinkuyu is the biggest underground city of the Cappadocia.
May I have Trekking tour alongshore the Melendiz River (Ihlara Valley) ?
Sure you can. It is one of the most popular trekking route in the Cappadocia (almost 20 km)”, After Ihlara Valley we will visit the Belisırma Village. Belisırma is a small Greek village located on the Melendiz River. You will see old Greek Houses and around of them you will have very tasty traditional food for lunch.

I booked from the U.S and the travel company was amazingly accommodating and friendly, allowing us to pay for the trip the morning of and picking us up from the travel agency office, as we were not staying in a hotel.
The van that you are driven around in is very comfortable, with storage space for small bags or items you may have, and it is climate controlled.
Our tour guide was Ozzy, and he is hands down the best tour guide I have ever had. He is funny, personable, made learning the history of the region fun, and he had so much knowledge it is incredible. You could tell through the whole tour that his passion is sharing the history of his country with you. He makes sure everyone feels important and is having a good time throughout the trip. He is so incredibly kind, one of the couples had a pretty tight timetable to get to the airport after the tour, and he even offered to personally drive them if they needed it, which he absolutely was not required to do at all.
I had a wonderful time using this travel agency and going on their tour. I am looking forward to coming back to Cappodocia and booking the Red Tour with them. 10/10 recommend booking with them.
